Maintenance
1. Device and Cables
Regularly inspect the scanner and cables. Check whether the scanner is firmly installed, whether the terminal connection is loose, and whether the cables are broken.
2. Lenses
Regular inspect the lenses, timely removal of fingerprints and dust, in order to ensure the detection accuracy. Use air blow tool and professional lens cleaning cloths to clean the scanner and lenses, do not use paper towels or rags to wipe, so as not to scratch the lenses.
3. Computer
Maintain the computer regularly. Clean up the system garbage, timely update of the software to ensure that the computer can work stably.
4. Operator
The installation and inspection process is carried out by trained personnel, please do not allow non-professionals to move or disassemble the equipment. Please do not allow non-professionals to move or disassemble the scanner. Calibration must be performed after reinstalling the scanner.
5. Accuracy Calibration
Calibrate the scanner periodically. If any of the following conditions occur, it is necessary to check the accuracy of the device and perform calibration. For accuracy testing and calibration procedures, see Advanced Topics - RVC Scanner Accuracy Testing Procedure.
(1) The scanner has been bumped;
(2) The scanner has not been used for an extended period of time;
(3) The scanner has been reinstalled;
(4) The scanner has been in normal use for six months or one year.
